Sardonyx

Sardonyx is a variant in which the colored bands are sard (shades of red) rather than black.
Healing properties: Can be used to banish grief, to enhance self-control, to stimulate the power of wise decision making, and to encourage happiness and good fortune. It is grounding and can be used to deflect or absorb the negativity of others.
The onyx is the stone for the zodiac sign, Virgo. It can be many different colors, but the ones with the reddish brown color is the preferred type.
